Selection depends on three key factors: material type, required fineness (mesh), and desired throughput (kg/h). PVC hard materials typically need turbo-type disc mills with water cooling. PE/LLDPE for rotomolding requires disc mills, optionally with liquid nitrogen cryogenic cooling for heat-sensitive materials.
